Questions....

Mama.... "How old was Reeves when I was born?"

Mama.... "What is a soul?"

Mama.... "Where IS my soul in my BODY?"

Mama... "But, what does my soul LOOK like?"

Mama... "I don't get it..."

Guess I need to figure out how to explain the Holy Spirit to my children. This is way harder than I thought it would be....

You should try the catechism! It answers those kind of questions PERFECTLY! :-) I don't have kids yet but we use those questions in our nursery and children's ministry at church!

Sweet! Funny, but we had a similar conversation in the car last night. Explaining The Trinity to kids is really hard!

I have always liked the example of the different roles each of us play to help out with an explanation of the trinity. I'm one person, but I'm a wife, a sister, a daughter. Those are all different roles and I do different things in those roles. That could be a starting point...maybe??

I am up very late-way past my bedtime and I just checked my blog and what was sitting right there in my comments? Why, it was a note from you!! Thank you so much for the encouragement. You cannot even know how your words blessed me. "Like apples of gold in settings of silver, so is a word aptly spoken." How true. You, dear friend, just spoke apples of gold into my soul.

I hope the podcasts will be a blessing to your little ole mothering heart. Until your children are old enough to rise up and call you blessed, allow me. Bless you! In the name of the Lord Jesus, bless you!
